Resource allocation and network pricing based on double auction in mobile edge computing

Abstract By transferring power-hungry huge data centers to lightweight Internet of Things (IoT) mobile devices, edge computing (MEC) has completely changed the IoT. For MEC, optimize economic gains and motivate profit-oriented entities, joint resource allocation network economics problem must be solved, issue is limited by local constraints, namely, server only serves multiple nearby which restricted its available energy. The article studies jointly energy in where device apply for offloading at a purported bid an supplies serving asking price. In particular, this paper puts forward two dynamic pricing double auction strategies MEC system, i.e., according break-even mechanism (DABM) more practical based on (DADPM) decide matching between devices servers, strategy high-priced profit case restricts. Theoretical analysis shows that proposed algorithms have properties such as budget balance, individual rationality, benefit, authenticity. Extensive simulation experiments evaluate efficiency results verify schemes will greatly make better benefits MEC.
